ABOUT KIRKPATRICK & KINSLOW
Kirkpatrick & Kinslow Productions is an Emmy® Award-winning film production company, producing feature length movies, documentaries and content for television.
The company is releasing its 4th feature documentary. Susan was filmed over the course of years in Oklahoma, Florida, Minnesota, Missouri and in New York. It follows a middle-aged woman who secretly, and sometimes humorously, tries to control her mortality, as she stares down a terminal condition that impacts more than 55 million people around the world.
In 2014, Russ Kirkpatrick & Andy Kinslow started the company, then won an Emmy Award for their first film Boomtown: An American Journey. The feature length documentary profiles a traumatic part of mid-America’s war on race in the 1921 Race Massacre -- and other parts of Tulsa, Oklahoma’s history.
Kirkpatrick & Kinslow’s second film, Unlikely Family can be seen on Amazon, Tubi, Plex and other platforms in the USA & other parts of the world, while its third feature length film, The Sound Of Identity is now available on Apple TV, Roku, DIRECTV, and other platforms in the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Belgium.
Kirkpatrick & Kinslow is in development on its newest feature: Will To Win. The film features a Native American high school baseball player as its heroine, the only girl on the team. Living with one remaining relative, her deeply traditional indigenous grandmother, Skylar Forest struggles with the death of her parents, while facing a bully — the school board president. Skylar meets an unexpected friend from the past, a legendary Hollywood star, who offers his wisdom to help her navigate life’s challenges.
